APPLICATION

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

PREPARATION (First Time Application)

1. Clean Your Lens Thoroughly

  • Remove respirator/mask lens from equipment (if removable)
  • Clean lens with mild soap and water or provided prep solution
  • Dry completely with lint-free cloth (included if applicable)
  • Ensure surface is free from dust, oil, and fingerprints
  • Tip: For best results, apply in a clean, dust-free environment

2. Inspect the Protective Film Stack

  • Remove one 7-layer stack from packaging
  • Identify the liner/backing layer (white liner)
  • Do not separate the individual layers – they apply as a single unit
  • Check that all layers are aligned properly

APPLICATION

1. Position and Align

  • Hold the stack with the backing liner facing away from the lens
  • Align the protector with your lens edges (use alignment guides if available)
  • Start at one edge – avoid touching the adhesive side

2. Apply the Stack

  • Gently press one edge of the stack to the lens surface
  • Slowly smooth across the lens using a squeegee motion with your hand or provided applicator
  • Work from center outward to eliminate air bubbles
  • Apply firm, even pressure across entire surface

3. Remove Backing Liner

  • Locate the pull tab on the backing liner
  • Peel back slowly and steadily at a 180-degree angle
  • If you see air bubbles, gently lift and reapply that section
  • The 7-layer stack is now installed and ready for use

TEAR-OFF OPERATION (During Work)

1. When Your Lens Gets Dirty

  • Locate the tear-off tab at the edge of the top layer
  • Grip the tab firmly with your thumb and index finger
  • Pull quickly and smoothly in one continuous motion
  • Tear-away layer will peel off completely, revealing fresh layer underneath

2. Continue Working

  • Immediately resume work with clear vision – no downtime required
  • Repeat tear-off process as needed (up to 7 times per application)
  • When all 7 layers are used, apply a new stack following steps 1-5

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

  • Store unused stacks in original packaging to protect from dust
  • Check for proper adhesion before beginning work
  • Tear off layers decisively – slow pulling may cause tearing irregularities
  • Keep spare stacks handy for quick reapplication when all layers are used

Note: You can place multiple 7 layer stacks on top of one another for larger jobs.
